The following is a recommendation for gear that you should have during your hunt. You will notice this list appears to be pretty light in regard to the number of items listed. This is by design; we provide most of the camp gear (tents, cots, totes, chairs, fuel, stoves, water filters, game bags, and all other gear that pertains to keeping camp clean and functional). We also provide all food and drink items as well.
The reason we do this is that we are limited by what we can haul in the aircraft we use, and I know how to pack each of these airplanes and have a very specific way of doing so. That being said, if you stick to the following gear list, you will be within the gear weight limit we need our clients to be on their hunt (60 lbs or less per person).

You Are Recommended To Bring The Following On Most Hunts: (unless told otherwise by Tyler)
Rifle
Licenses, Tags & Permits
Waders (only used on some hunts, they are used to get on and off float planes, might be needed to cross streams, and you wear them all day long during moose hunts. Ask Tyler if waders are required for your trip)
Camp shoes
Nalgene water bottle
Filter water bottle
Headlamp

Rain gear top and bottom
At least 2 base layer tops and bottoms (merino wool or synthetic)
2 to 3 pairs of pants

Gear List For Baited Black Bear:
You don’t need as much on this hunt as on our other trips.
Bring a 5500 cubic inch pack if you plan on helping pack meat. If not, bring a 3500 cubic inch bag.
Also consider bringing:
2 pairs of pants,
2 tops,
puffy jacket,
4 pairs of merino socks,
2 pairs of underwear (one long and one short),
beanie,
baseball cap,
mechanic gloves (lots of thorns around),
wool gloves,
sunglasses,
sunscreen (a lot of people get sunburnt on this hunt, believe it or not!),
bug spray,
Thermacell,
bug head net,
32 oz Nalgene water bottle,
waterproof boots,
gaiters for your boots,
binoculars (do not bring a spotting scope),
1 box of ammunition (if using a firearm),
6 arrows (if using archery tackle).
